We offer graduate programs in the areas of early childhood education, secondary education, special education, applied developmental psychology, and reading specialization.

You have the flexibility to select a teacher education program based on your career stage. If you're looking to become a teacher, we offer the Bachelor of Arts in Teacher Education, Master of Arts in Teaching degree, Instructional I Teaching Certificates, and Dual Certifications. If you've already achieved your initial teacher preparation, we offer Administrative and Professional Certificates.

Teacher Education Programs

Curriculum and Instruction

Our Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction is a professional degree that supports K-12 teachers in the early stages of their careers. Delivered in a 100% online format, this program provides advanced training in instructional methods that will allow you to keep pace with the changing educational landscape

Early Childhood Education

In this area, you have the option of completing programs that offer either a single certification or a dual certification. Primary Plus provides a single certification to teach in classrooms from PreK-4. The CASE Teacher Preparation program leads to certifications in PreK-4 and special education. 

Graduate Programs in Secondary Education (Grades 7 - 12)
Undergraduate Programs in Teacher Education (Elementary, Secondary, and PreK-12)

The Bachelor of Science in Teacher Education program provides students with the training for their instructional I certification. The program leads to teacher certification in the secondary education tracks (for grades 7-12 in English, Math, Science and Social Studies and for PK-12 for World Heritage Languages) and in the special education track (for grades PreK-12). 

The CASE Teacher Preparation program is a 4+1 program in which students earn a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in five years. The program leads to teacher certifications in PreK-4 and in special education. .

The Teacher Education Minor in Secondary Education is a 15-credit program for students majoring in areas outside of teacher education.
