Dr. Robert Gallen Robert Gallen, Ph.D., IMH-E, is currently the Masters’ Program Coordinator for the Applied Developmental Psychology Program at the Univ of Pittsburgh. Dr. Gallen is a Licensed Psychologist and Associate Professor of Psychology.
He received his doctoral degree from the University of Kentucky in 1997, completed his internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, and his post-doctoral fellowship at the Cincinnati Center for Developmental Disorders at Cincinnati’s Children’s Hospital. He has served as a Part C Early Intervention provider since 1998 with Kentucky’s First Steps and Allegheny Pennsylvania’s Alliance for Infants and Toddlers.
He is the the founding past president of the Pennsylvania Association for Infant Mental health and a ZERO to THREE Leaders for the 21st Century Fellow. He has served on several boards and panels at the local, state, regional and national level to support infant and early childhood mental health initiatives.
He currently teaches graduate level courses in Developmental Psychopathology, Infant Mental Health, Introduction to Counseling, ADP Proseminar and Family Dynamics.
