During the School of Education’s orientation, incoming undergraduate and graduate students will:

  • Be introduced to school leaders, student services staff, and faculty leaders
  • Receive information on the School of Education mission-vision, student/career resources, and other essential items
  • Engage in morning and afternoon breakout sessions for some program areas (see below for program-specific breakout sessions)
  • Receive free giveaways of school merchandise, including T-shirts!

Participation at orientation is expected. If there is an extenuating circumstance that prevents you from attending, please reach out to educ@pitt.edu to discuss your situation.

      • Parking for the Posvar Hall garage is available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available for School of Education students to reserve through the ParkMobile app beginning after 5 p.m. on August 9.
